Shaoyao Gancao Decoction was established by Zhang Zhongjing for the treatment of typhoid fever，sweating and damaging yin，muscle and vein loss and foot contracture.Thereafter，doctors in ancient and modern times often use this prescription with modification to treat various diseases.Professor Liu Xiaoying，a tutor，combined with modern pharmacological research，chose to add or subtract from the pathogenesis，and applied the prescription widely in pediatric diseases，such as cough and asthma，abdominal pain and hypertonia.The clinical application of the prescription was effective，showing the idea of using the classical prescription flexibly and treating different diseases simultaneously，and highlighting the curative effect and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.This paper list the classic cases of Professor Liu Xiaoying's treatment of pediatrics with Shaoyao Gancao Decoction，and discussed the application experience to feed the readers.
