To perform textual research and review the research progress on Mongolian medicine Garidi-5 Pills to provide a basis for further development and utilization of Garidi-5 Pills.Methods:The research progress on Garidi-5 Pills was analyzed and summarized from the origin,formula interpretation,clinical application,and chemical composition through textual research on Mongolian medicine and literature review.Results:Mongolian medicine Garidi-5 Pills,first recorded in the classic Tibetan medicine book The Four Medical Tantras(Si Bu Yi Dian) written by Tibetan medical scientist Yutuo Yundangongbu in the late 8th century AD,belongs to the traditional empirical prescription of Mongolian medicine and Tibetan medicine and is composed of Chebulae Fructus,Moschus,Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Cocta,Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma,and Aucklandiae Radix.Other prescriptions have been developed according to clinical application,with the effects of treating sticky diseases,relieving pain and swelling,and dryness “Xieriwusu”(yellow fluid).Mongolian medicine is effective in the treatment of diseases such as plague fever,parasitosis,sticky tingling,vitamin C deficiency,rheumatism,diphtheria anthrax,scabies ulcers,migraine,scabies,and so on.Conclusion:Mongolian medicine Garidi-5 Pills,derived from The Four Medical Tantras,is a traditional empirical prescription.It has a significant curative effect on sticky diseases such as plague fever,parasitosis,and sticky tingling,and has potential development and utilization value. |
