| “肝藏魂”是中医藏象理论中的重要内容，魂随神往来，为阳神。无论“罢极之本”或“肝主疏泄”，均体现肝“用阳”的生理特性，肝“用阳”实为肝藏魂（阳神）的外在表现。疏泄为肝最重要的生理功能，肝魂调控肝之疏泄发挥功能作用，魂安则疏泄正常；若魂不安则疏泄失常，继而诱发肝气逆、肝气郁两证。 |

| “Liver stores the soul” is a key concept in the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) theory of Zang manifestation.The soul，being a yang spirit，travels with the mind.Both the root of tolerance to fatigue and the “liver governing free flow of qi” reflect the physiological characteristic of the liver “using yang”.In essence，“using yang” by the liver is an external manifestation of the liver storing the soul(yang spirit).Free flow of qi is the most important physiological function of the liver.The liver soul regulates and ensures the proper functioning of the liver in governing the free flow of qi.When the soul is at peace，free flow of qi is normal.However，if the soul is unsettled，free flow of qi becomes disrupted，leading to conditions such as liver qi counterflow and liver qi stagnation. |
