| 肺与大肠是互为表里的2个脏腑，中医学将二者的关系概括为经脉相互络属、生理病理相互关联。经梳理文献发现肺与大肠在胚胎起源、神经体液调节、免疫学、信号通路转导、肠道菌群系统等方面均具有密切的联系，这种生理病理的关系是肺与大肠互为表里的基础。在此基础上根据肺肠之间肺病及肠、肠病及肺的传变关系，采用肺病治肠、肠病治肺以及肺肠合治的治疗方案，结合流行病学和循证医学，可将肺与大肠互为表里的理论进一步深化和应用。 |

| The lung and large intestine are paired organs with interior-exterior relationship，and in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)，their relationship is summarized as being interconnected through meridians and collaterals and sharing physiological and pathological associations.A review of the literature reveals that the lung and large intestine are closely linked in embryonic origin，neurohumoral regulation，immunology，signal transduction pathways，and gut microbiota systems.These physiological and pathological interconnections form the basis of interior-exterior relationship of the lung and large intestine.Building on this foundation，the transmission dynamics between pulmonary diseases affecting the intestine and intestinal diseases affecting the lung have led to therapeutic strategies such as treating intestinal diseases to address lung disorders，treating lung diseases to manage intestinal conditions，or adopting combined lung-intestine treatments.By integrating epidemiological findings and evidence-based medicine，the theoretical framework of the lung and large intestine as paired organs can be further refined and applied in clinical practice. |
