Tumor Studies in Chinese Medicine began in the Yin and Zhou Dynasties,witnessed its early days from the Yin, Zhou Dynasties to Sui,Tang Dynasties，took shape during the Song and Yuan Dynasties,enjoyed prosperity in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,further developed in modern times.Nowadays prevention and treatment of tumor with Chinese medicine has made great achievements,nevertheless,the absence of a standardized guideline for treatment of tumor jeopardizes the progress,and therefore,the establishment of a standardized guideline for the treatment of tumor would be the focus of further development of tumor studies in Chinese medicine.
