Effect of Suanzhiqing Capsule on the Interleukin-4 (IL-4) level was observed. Methods:IL-4 Content was determined by Elisa method, in blood serum collected at 3-,6-,9-hour interval from acute gouty arthritis rat model established by the Coderre Method. Results:The IL-4 level of Chinese materia medica group was significantly higher than that of biomedicine group and of model group (P<0.05). Conclusions:with an obvious increase of IL-4 expression, Suanzhiqing Capsule showed satisfactory therapeutic effect for acute gouty arthritis.
