To explore treatment of menoxenia due to poor ovarian reserve function with syndrome differentiation of Chinese medicine.Methods:Eighteen participants that met the diagnostic criterion were selected and differentiated to the pattern of liver-kidney yin deficiency， or the pattern of spleen-kidney deficiency， then treated accordingly with modifications.Results:Among 18 patients， symptoms disappeared for 10 of them and were relieved for 8 of them. FSH levels had dropped considerably for 12 patients.Conclusion:syndrome differentiation and treatment of Chinese medicine can remarkably improve clinical manifestations and regulate release of hormones for patients of menoxenia due to poor ovarian reserve function.
