To observe effect of Wenxin Jilv tang formulated according to qi-replenishing, blood-activating, heart-nourishing, mind-tranquilizing, on heart’s automaticity, reentry, action potential, parasystole, effective refractory period, atrioventricular conduction, etc.Methods:The 120 patients of arrhythmia were treated with Wenxin Jilv tang composed of eleven Chinese herbs (including Huangqi, Danggui, Fangji, Gansong), took electrocardiogram test, and observed changes of cardiac rhythm and heart rate after treatment. Results:With a total effective rate of 86.6%, 44 patients were cured, 32 patients improved significantly, and 28 cases responded favorably.Conclusion:Having a wide curative spectrum on arrhythmia with multi-factors, Wenxin Jilv tang can markedly improve patients’ quality of life.
