Evidence-based medicine has brought opportunity to Chinese medicine, however, problems arise as result of, e.g. difficult-to-master diagnostic techniques of Chinese medicine, lack of clinical research technique and evaluation methods of best evidence suitable to Chinese medicine, as well as inadequate understanding of evidence-based medicine within the TCM circle. Therefore, it is suggested to develop objective parameters for Chinese medicine diagnosis, to conduct evidence-based research of Chinese medicine, and to launch widely education about evidence-based medicine.
