Chinese Medicine has been playing a significant role in prevention and treatment of cancer, for which remarkable achievements have been made in preclinical research and clinical application. In order for a higher level of cancer prevention and treatment, a comprehensive treatment system needs to be built up while adhering to the characteristics of Chinese medicine, ie. the “holistic” view and “treatment based on syndrome differentiation”.
