The author suggest that Chinese medicine should be clarified from its root, that Chinese medicine results from thousands of years of observation on nature, accumulative experience of universal laws, and from clinical practices. Therefore, its own epistemology and methodology should be followed to better understand and research Chinese medicine. Only in this way will Chinese medicine play a greater role in the world.
