Abstract:To investigate impact of Chinese medicine treatment per phase on X ray film and serum ALP level in fractured rabbits. Methods:75 New zealand rabbits with fracture were equally divided to treatment group 1 to 3, model group (group 4) and delay union group(group 5). From Day2, group 2 was administered with Chinese medicine per fracture phase, group 4 and group 5 received same volume physiological saline, from Week4 group 1 and group 3 began treatment. Delay union group was injected with red marrow after establishment of modeling. At Week4 and Week8 following operation, serum ALP and X ray film were taken. Results:At Week4 ALP level of group2 was significantly higher than that of the rest groups (P<0.01), and kept at significant higher level in comparison with the model group and delay union group at Week 8. There wasn’t significant ALT difference between group 1 and group 2. At Week4 the model group had the highest score per X ray film, at Week8 the score of group2, higher than other groups, was not significantly different with the score of model group. Conclusion: Chinese medicine treatment per fracture phase can significant increase X-ray score and serum ALP level. The groups given Chinese medicine treatment can improve union of fracture.
