To observe effect of modified Xianfang Huoming Yin (bath application) on wound healing after perianal abscess surgery.Methods:Seventy patients randomly divided into treatment and control group, respectively received Chinese medicine or high 1:5000 Permanganate solution bath 24h following the surgery. Wound edema and wound healing time were observed and analyzed.Results:Treatment group was significantly better than control group on postoperative pain, regression of wound swelling, wound healing, etc(P<0.05).Conclusion:modified Xianfang Huoming Yin (bath application) can effectively promote wound healing after perianal abscess surgery, reduce swelling and postoperative pain.
