To investigate effect of Runchang Tongle Drink on the constipated mice due to spleen deficiency. Methods:The mice model of constipation due to spleen deficiency was established by feeding every 2 days, fatigue and short of water. After taking Runchang Tongle Drink, the mice were observed for defecate amount, organ coefficient and swimming time. Results:In terms of the parameters assessed (defecate amount, organ coefficient and swimming time), high and medium dose of Runchang Tongle Drink can significantly relieve constipation symptoms (P<0.05). Conclusion: Concluded from our study, the Runchang Tongle Drink is effective to relieve constipation due to spleen deficiency.
