To observe the effectiveness of self formulated stomach- harmonizing and Pain- killing decoction for treatment of epigastric pain. Methods:The patients were treated for a course of 12 days. Results:Among 128 patients, 101 recovered, another 12 were significantly effective, 8 were effective, 7 didn’t quite respond to the treatment. The total effective rate was 94.53%. Conclusion:Self formulated stomach- harmonizing and Pain- killing decoction has clinically confirmed effectiveness for epigastric pain, thus is worth further application and research.
