Abstract:To investigate the effect of sodium aescinate on postoperative edema and pain of mixed hemorrhoids.Methods:A total of 120 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 60 cases in each group.Two groups were given intravenous antibiotic therapy, oral chinese medicine, and dressing changes. Based on these, The treatment group was also treated with sodium aescinate. 20mg sodium aescinate dissolved in 500 mL 5%G.S were given by intravenous drip once per day.Results:After the treatment, the level of edema and pain of the treatment group were more significantly improved than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Sodium aescinate applied in early stage has certain effect on lessenning postoperative edema and pain of mixed hemorrhoid, and can promote wound healing. It is effective and safe.
