GLP-1，expressed by glucagons original gene，a promote bowel pancreatic hormone that synthesised and secreted by L cells of bowel mucosa is characterized by glucose dependence hypoglycemic effect.Recent years studies show GLP-1 can induce islet βcell proliferation and inhibit its apoptosis through signal transduction，thus to increase in the number of βcells，promote insulin secretion，and improve βcells function.It has become hot spot of the diabetes treatment drug research in recent years.And GLP-1 similar drugs has become the new drugs to treat diabetic patients.Although there have been many achievements，some problems need to be resolved.So this paper will have a review about above contents .
