Abstract:To observe the clinical curative effect of acupoint injection for low extremity arteri osclerosis disease, LEASD. Methods: Fifty patients with low extremity arteri osclerosis disease were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group. In treatment group, Angelica injection was given by acupoint injection to patients in addition to conventional therapy. In control group, patients were given the medicine which would promote blood circulation and blood vessel dilatation. The onset frequency of rest pain every week, pain duration time, pain severity, and ankle brachial index were recorded and evaluated before and after 1, 2 weeks of the therapy initiated in both groups. Results: The treatment group showed better results than control group in decreasing the frequency of rest pain, shortening pain duration time, ameliorating pain severity and improving ankle brachial index. Conclusion: Acupoint injection has satisfactory analgesic effect in treating Low Extremity Arterio Sclerosis Disease with less adverse effect.
