To analyze clinical therapeutic effect of Buchang Naoxintong in treating ischemic cerebrovascular disease.Methods:Ninety seven patients suffered from ischemic cerebrovascular disease admitted to our hospital from October 2009 to May 2011 was selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group. The forty eight patients in control group were given regular western medicine treatment, while patients in observation group received additional oral administration of Buchang Naoxintong capsule apart from the same treatment as the control group.Results:The total effective rate in control group and observation group were respectively 83.3% and 95.9%, which showed significant differences (χ²=4.5470，P<005). There were no cases of severe adverse reaction in both groups during the treatment.Conclusion:The clinical therapeutic effect of Buchang Naoxintong in treating ischemic cerebrovascular disease is satisfactory and safe.
