Diabetic nephropathy is diabetes with serious blood capillary pathological changes. TCM has its unique advantage in treating diabetes. This article gave overviews of causes and pathology of diabetic nephropathy of different schools, and summarized the clinical application of diagnosis and treatment with pattern classification and phase classification.
