To investigate the therapeutic effect of combination of Electro-acupuncture and ear pressure for simple obesity.Methods:Forty cases of simple obesity were randomly divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method. Electro-acupuncture and ear pressure were used for the treatment group, while the Metformin for the control group. The total effective rate was compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:The effective rate in treatment group was obviously higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Electro-acupuncture and ear pressure is better than western medicine in treating simple obesity, and has high safety.
