To observe the clinic effect of A-shi point acupotomy and cupping in treating the remission stage of Periarthritis of shoulder. Methods:Thirty-eight patients suffered from the remission stage of Periarthritis of shoulder were treated with one session of A-shi point acupotomy and cupping every three days, for a total of three sessions. The clinic effects on the 12th day were observed. Results:Six patients were cured, 24 cases showed obvious effective result, 8 cases were effective, and the total effective rate were 100%. There were obvious strengthening on improvement of shoulder motions and shoulder functioning sores, which showed significant statistical differences. Conclusion: The A-shi point acupotomy and cupping therapy can effectively and definitely improve the functions of shoulder in the remission stage of Periarthritis of shoulder which is worth generalizing.
