Abstract:To observe effectiveness of “needling technique of middle-warmer energy” in patients with gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy. Methods: Patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group. Patients in treatment group were given “needling technique of middle-warmer energy”, and the control group applied traditional Chinese medicine decoction Lian Su Yin. The treatment lasted for 2 courses of treatment. Results: Among the 22 cases in treatment group, 15 cases were improved significantly, 6 cases were markedly effective, one case was ineffective; among the 20 cases in control group, 7 cases were improved significantly, 9 cases were markedly effective, and 4 cases ineffective. There were significant differences between the two groups, P<0.05. Conclusion: “Needling technique of middle-warmer energy” shows satisfactory effects in patients with gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy.
