Abstract:Lung cancer is one of the most commonly occured malignant tumors in the modern world. Its mortality rate occupies first place in disease mortalities of national urban residents in China. Due to the lung cancer’s late appearance of clinical symptoms and the great difficulty of radical cure by the surgery, the clinical treatment universally uses the chemotherapy to control the disease advancement. However, the use of chemotherapy can restrain and kill the tumor cells followed by the killing of normal organism cells. It causes toxicity and side effects in multiple systems with different degrees. Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy can often play a favorable part in toxicity reducing and efficacy enhancing. The author has reviewed above situation in order to get a wider range of this kind of therapy in clinical application.
