Abstract The Synopsis of Golden Chamber, Zhang Zhongjing′s masterpiece of dialectical theory, is the earliest monograph on diagnosis and treatment of diseases in China. Being concise, the book is the first to establish the system of combination of disease and syndrome, syndrome differentiation and treatment of the diseases diagnosis and treatment, providing ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment. This paper provides the author′s interpretation on Jaundice Article 1, 2, and 8 in The Synopsis of Golden Chamber, hoping to serve as reference for scholars.
