To get effective compatibility of Chinese medicine herbs which would boost qi and quicken blood for inhibiting proliferation of breast cancer cells. And also to explore the connotation of herbs compatibility to treat cancer. Methods: Breast cancer cell EMT6 burdened BALB/C mice model were established.Ten groups were made including control group (Control), Taxel group (Taxel), Huangqi + Sumu group (HQ+SM); Huangqi + Sumu + Puhuang group (HQ+SM+PH); Huangqi + Sumu + Fengfang (HQ+SM+FF); Huangqi + Sumu + Paoshanjia (HQ+SM+ PSJ); Huangqi + Sumu + Puhuang + Fengfang (HQ+SM+PH+FF); Huangqi + Sumu + Puhuang + Paoshanjia (HQ+SM+PH+PSJ); Huangqi + Sumu + Fengfang + Paoshanjia (HQ+SM+FF+PSJ); Huangqi + Sumu + Fengfang + Fengfang + Paoshanjia (HQ+SM+PH+FF+PSJ). 100 tumor burden mice were randomly divided into these ten groups with ten mice in each group. Chinese medicine formula and saline were administered intragastrically to different groups as well as saline and Taxel were given by interoperatoneal injection. The burdened tumor weight was measured 8 days after forming the tumors and the tumor inhibition rate was observed. Results: The weight of burden tumor of the Huangqi+Sumu+Fengfang+Paoshanjia group (HQ+SM+FF+PSJ) was much smaller than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant, P=0.049<0.05. The tumor inhibition rat of (HQ+SM+FF+PSJ) group was 27.05%. Conclusion: The Chinese medicine herbs compatibility with Huangqi, Sumu, Fengfang and Paoshanjia has the function of inhibiting the proliferation of breast cancer cell EMT6 in BALB/C mice in vivo.
