In order to meet the growing need in processing and retrieval, a questionnaire was designed to analyze users’ concerns and interest in order to upgrade pharmaceutical chemistry experiment database building and sharing program. Methods: A questionnaire was designed, and findings were analyzed and summarized. Results: By analyzing the survey results, users’ needs were understood so as to improve and refine the database system accordingly. Conclusion: Meeting the needs of database users and gaining user recognition is the key to the success in database construction.
