Abstract According to some literature records and investigation，there was long historical connection between China and Hungary with a good foundation of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)among the general public.In recent years，TCM has been developing rapidly in Hungary although TCM has been used with a short history，as it is receiving greater support from the Hungarian government and enjoying more popularity among the people.This paper outlined the history，development and present status of TCM in Hungary，and analyzed the advantages and strategies for the bilateral cooperation.
