To study the clinical efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with rehabilitation training on elbow joint dysfunction. Methods：A total of 50 cases of elbow dysfunction patients in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups; 25 cases in control group that received acupuncture and moxibustion，once per day，30 min each time，6 days-treatment per week，two weeks as one period of treatment; 25 cases of observation group had traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on the basis of the control group treatment，twice per day，6 days-treatment per week，two weeks as one period of treatment. Improvements of clinical symptoms，blood rheology，biochemical factors of the two groups were compared after treatment. Results： 1)After treatment，improvements on clinical symptoms between the two groups were statistically different (P<0.05)，observation group was better than the control group; 2)Blood flow velocity (Vs)，mean blood flow velocity (Vd)，end-diastolic blood flow velocity (Vm) of the both groups both increased as compared with before treatment (P<0.05)，the increase in observation group was much more significant (P<0.05). Conclusion： Self-prepared kidney-tonifying fumigation combined with acupuncture and moxibustion can effectively relieve symptoms for the patients. It can be a possible mean for similar clinical treatment.
