To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture treatment in patients with cerebral stroke.Methods：42 cases of cerebral stroke were evenly divided into 2 groups， control group was applied conventional drugs and psychological intervention， and observation group was applied acupuncture treatment in addition to treatment received by control group， compared total effective rate， damaged and physical disability between the two groups.Results：The total effective rate of observation group was 90.4%， significantly higher than 61.9% of control group (χ2 =4.72，P<0.05).The score of FMA and Barthel index of observation group were all better after treatment， and the raised extent was much higher than those of control group (P<0.05).Conclusion：Acupuncture treatment for patients with cerebral stroke can improve clinical efficacy， decrease the physical disability， thus is of important clinical application value
