To observe the clinical effects of needle-knife lysis on the spinous process of the seconcervial vertebrae in treating vertebral artery cervical spondylosis. Methods： Eighty-seven patients with vertebral artery cervical spondylosis were randomly divided into two groups： objective group adopted needle-knife, control group adopted acupuncture treatment for Xue points. Results： Cure rate was 81.82% in the objective group, and 60.47% in the control group. Differences between the cured rates of the two groups were extremely remarkable (P<0.05). To observe the numerical value of transcranial Doppler, compared to the changes, the differences are extremely significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion： Treatment with needle-knife for vertebral artery cervical spondylosis is effective, thus is suggested to use clinically.
