To observe the clinical curative effect of TCM Clyster on pelvic inflammation.Methods：the 120 patients were randomized into 4 arms：A， B， C and D， 30 cases in each arm.We gave TCM Clyster to Arm A， Puzao Yuyan Decoction to Arm B， TCM Clyster and Puzao Yuyan Decoction to Arm C， Ornidazole dispersible tablet to Arm D.Results：After treatment for 14 consecutive days， the recovery rate， significant effective rate and total effective rate of Arm A， B and C were significantly higher than that of Arm D (P<0.05 orP<0.01).The significant effective rate of Arm A and C were 50.00% and 53.33%(P>0.05)， having statistical significance compared with Arm B (P<0.05 orP<0.01).The total effective rate of Arm C， A， B and D were respectively 93.33%， 90.00%、，76.67% and 66.67%.Arm A was not statistically different than Arm C， however both arms were significant than Arm B (P<0.05 orP<0.01)， which indicated that the efficacy of Arm A and C was superior to Arm B and D.After treatment， all the arms improved in terms of local symptoms， pain score， analgesic efficacy and TCM symptom score(P<0.05 orP<0.01).The total effective rate of analgesic efficacy of Arm A.B，C and D were respectively 86.67%、76.67%、83.33% and 73.33%.2 patients in Arm A and 1 patient in Arm C felt slight discomfort in the anus at day1 - 3， which recovered spontaneously without corrective treatment.7 patients in Arm D felt nauseated， which was relieved after taking vitamin B6.Patients in Arm A reported no obvious adverse reactions.Costs of treatment：Arm D：￥87.63， Arm A：￥114.94， Arm B：￥ 149.94， Arm C ：264.74.Conclusion：TCM Clyster is effective to treat pelvic inflammation， and less expensive compared to other treatments in this research.
