Treating different diseases with the same prescription is proposed by later generations according to the idea of “treating the same disease with different methods” in Essentials of Internal Classic and clinical experience. Though the great Zhang zhongjin did not clearly bring out the method in “Synopsis of Golden Chamber”, but it was embodied most incisive. The author makes some analysis on the commonly used prescriptions of “Synopsis of Golden Chamber” including the Fangji Huangqi decoction, red adzuki beans angelica powder, Dachengqi Decoction, Shenqi pill.
