On the basis of reorganizing and interpreting the conceptions of the TCM term Qi and Qi Transformation deeply, it is considered that the connotation of Qi refers to the natural evolution of the Qi without substance, while the extension of Qi can be used to describe the natural biochemical effect of the primordial qi of the universe, including the qi transformation level of life, the metaplastic process of the viscera, qi, blood and body fluid. In favor of returning to the original thinking of the TCM theory, it is an urgent problem to clarify and grasp the conception of the TCM term qi transformation during the process of inheriting and developing the TCM theory at present.
