The theory of “preventive treatment of disease” is regarded as a kind of precautionary principle in Neijing and Nanjing，and it is inherited and extended in Jingui Yaolue to be a kind of system of disease diagnosis and treatment.It is more objective and reliable applying the clear method to analyze the diagnosis，the treatment ideas and steps in original.The meaning of consumptive disease described in Jingui is diffident from what the modern Chinese medicine explains.This paper analyzes the original contents in Jingui and seeks for diagnosis and treatment thoughts using the theory of “preventive treatment of disease” so as to expand the understanding of original contents in Jingui and to enrich the modern system of diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
