Xingan Shengmai is not only widely distributed in China，but also widely used as component of TCM formula to treat internal diseases.In recent years，Chinese researchers have conducted more and more research about the aboveground part of Shengmai，from identification of active ingredients，to efficacy evaluation，extraction techniques，and clinical use.These research not only expanded the scope of use of Xingan Shengmai aboveground resources but also lay a good foundation of make better use of Xingan Shengmai aboveground part.
