Abstract:To observe the curative effect of progesterone combined with Shoutai Pill in the treatment of recurrent spontaneous abortion associated with negative blocking antibody. Methods: To randomly divide outpatients and inpatients who seek treatment for recurrent spontaneous abortion of negative blocking antibody type in our hospital (from January of 2012 to January of 2014) into control group (n=100) and treatment group (n=100). Traditional tocolytic therapy as intramuscular injection of HCG and progesterone was given to the control group. By contrast, progesterone combined with ShouTaiWan decoction was given to the treatment group. After 16 weeks of treatment, the success rate and conversion rate of blocking antibodies negative were compared. Results: Pregnancy success rate was 76% (76 cases) in the treatment group and 52% (52 cases) in the control group. Both of the results were of statistical significance (P<0.05). As to the blocking antibody positive conversion rate, the treatment group was 69% (69 cases) and the control group was 58% (58 cases), and both were of statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: Progesterone combined with Shoutai Pill in the treatment of blocking antibody negative recurrent abortion is of obvious efficacy and can significantly improve the success rate of pregnancy and the conversion rate of antibodies. No adverse reaction has manifested. With a low treatment cost, the treatment of progesterone combined with Shoutai Pill is worth clinical promotion and further research.
