This article summarized and articulated the research progression in TCM syndromes associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease under the items of research methods, categories of syndromes, laboratory parameters related syndrome differentiation in Chinese medicine etc., aiming at providing references to the syndrome differentiation treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in Chinese medicine.
