Huangdis Internal Classic is an agglomeration of health preserving culture in ancient China. There were quite amount of expound about acupunctural treatment on pain in several chapters. This paper summarized the representative expound related to relieve of pain by acupuncture and discussed etiology and pathogenesis of pain syndrome and acupunctural treatment from the view of Huangdis Internal Classic.
