Abstract:To analyze the clinical effect of Albumin Tannate and Barm Powder in the treatment of infantile diarrhea. Methods: Two hundred cases of patients enrolled into our hospital from June 2013 to June 2014 were randomly divided into two groups, observation group and control group, with 100 in each. Patients in the observation group took Albumin Tannate and Barm Powder and those in the control group took Smecta. After treatment, curative effects and total effective rates of the two groups were being compared. Results: After treatment, the symptoms were relieved in and defecation frequency were decreased in both groups. However, the total effective rate in the observation group was 98% while the control groups was 87%. Other indexes of curative effect also showed that the observation group performed better than the control group, and the differences were of statistical difference(P<0.05). Conclusion: Albumin Tannate and Barm Powder is significantly effective to treat infantile diarrhea. With no reported side effects or toxic effects, it could be widely adopted in clinical treatment.
