Abstract:To explore the clinical efficacy posterior acupotomy method in treating anterior scalenus syndrome. Method: Anterior scalenus syndrome patients of 100 cases were randomly divided into three groups, according to the treatment methods, which were acupotomy, acupuncture, blockade respectively. The follow-ups were carried out on the date after a week, a month, three months of the treatment. According to the curative effect, the patients were divided into four types: cured, effective, valid and invalid; the curative rates and efficient rates of the two control groups (acupuncture group and blockade group) were compared according to the statistical analysis of the results to evaluate the acupotomys clinical efficacy in the treatment of anterior scalenus syndrome. Results:One week after the treatment, the acupotomy group was better than acupuncture group, curative effect of blockade and acupotomy group were also significant. A month and three months after treatment, the curative effect of acupotomy group was obviously better than acupuncture and the blockade group, as the curative effect of blockade group constantly declined. Conclusion:Acupotomy is an effective method in the treatment of scalene syndrome.
