To analyze the medication experience of distinguished veteran Hou Yufen on treating arteriosclerosis obliterans based on data mining.Methods:To collect the medical records of cases with arteriosclerosis obliterans which were treated by Hou Yufen, and then enter them into TCM inheritance assist platform (V2.0). Using data extraction to summarize the medication experience of arteriosclerosis obliterans.Results:A total of 284 prescriptions were filtered and analyzed for define the frequency of use of various herbs and the association rules between them.Conclusion:The treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans from professor Hou Yufen emphasizes on treating spleen. Generally, methods of supplementing qi and activating blood,removing blood stasis and dredging collaterals are mostly used. Besides,TCM inheritance assist system can be used to analyze and summarize clinical experience of distinguished veteran Chinese medicine doctor, and it is useful for clinic reference.
