Chinese medicine is a treasure of splendid and prosperous Chinese culture, and it is the essence and pearl of traditional Chinese culture. The early Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) has an initial prototype in the Xia and Shang Dynasties, and then developed mature theory system and accumulate rich clinical experience. For thousands of years, it is not only passed from generation to generation in China and help Chinese people to overcome a variety of diseases but also spread into the world. Early in the Qin and Han dynasties, TCM was taken to the Southeast Asian region by immigration start to spread, and achieved great success.This paper describes the history and development of TCM in the eleven countries of Southeast Asia.
