To analyze the pattern of acupuncture points selection by extracting domestic and oversea clinical researches on the treatment of pregnancy nausea and vomiting. Methods: Use computer retrieval for PubMed (1980—2015.11), Chinese journal full-text database (CNKI,1979—2015.11), the data resource system of ten thousand (1983—2015.11), Weipu journal full-text database (VIP, 1989—2015.11) to extract pregnancy nausea and vomiting related literature. At least 30 references are obtained. Results: It is found that on the acupoints selection, acupoints that can regulating stomach and spleen such as Neiguan(P 6), Zusanli(ST 36), Zhongwan(CV 12) are most commonly used. In addition, most of the acupoints selected belongs to CV, PC, ST, BL. Most of the acupoints are on lower limbs, abdomen area and Neiguan(P 6) point upper limbs. Conclusion: It is very important to choose acupuncture point with local select acupuncture point, meridian point selection, specific point selection, and dialectical point selection in treating pregnancy nausea and vomiting by acupuncture. Accordingly, this article can provide as a reliable reference for clinical acupuncture point selection.
