Abstract:Urticaria is a common allergic skin disease which has intricate etiology and pathogenesis, and is easy to recurrent. Clinical manifestations of urticaria manifested as over-localized edema in skin mucosa with obvious itching. Urticaria is refered to “hidden rashes” “red and white wandering wind” in ancient China. In recent years, TCM practitioners have accumulated a wealth of experience in the treatment of chronic urticaria. This paper has referred to ancient and modern literature about the relationship between urticaria with five zang-organs and the treatment of urticaria through syndrome differentiation. Besides, this paper take reference on the typical clinical symptoms of patients with chronic urticaria to discuss the mechanism and treatment of this disease from regulating five zang-organs.
