Based on the definition and characteristics of endotoxin, we emphatically analyzed the origin and pathogenesis of stasis-toxin. And we discuss the effects of stasis-toxin in the pathogenesis of peripheral vascular diseases. Stasis-toxin can play an important roll in pathological mechanisms of peripheral vascular disease. It is related to the refractoriness and recurrence of peripheral vascular disease.
