To observe the clinical effects and safety of three methods, namely Xiaojin Capsule, Euthyrox, and Euthyrox combined with Xiaojin Capsule on the treatment of thyroid nodule. Methods:A hundred and eighty-nine patients with thyroid nodule and normal thyroid function were randomly divided into three groups, namely group A, group B and group C, which were respectively treated with Euthyrox, Xiaojin Capsule and Euthyrox combined with Xiao Jin Capsule. Curative effects and adverse reactions of all the groups after 6-month treatment were compared. Results:The total effective rates of group C was highest, compared with group A and group B ( P<0.05)， however, there was no significant difference in adverse reaction among the three groups. Conclusion:Xiaojin Capsule combined with Euthyrox may be effective for thyroid nodule and with no obvious side effect.
