Professor Lin Hongsheng has been engaged in the integrated Chinese and western medicine clinical treatment and basic research of lung cancer for a long time.The treatment of lung cancer should firstly focus on pathogenesis and emphasize on “adjusting along with time,regions and people”,and it shall be treated in phases,stages,and under the specification.On the basis of the previous experiences and scientific achievements,Professor Lin put forward the new thought of “consolidate constitution to eliminate pathogenic factors” and applied it in clinic.It suggests that proper medicines should be used in specific treatment,and it emphasizes that as a chronic disease,the treatment period of lung cancer is relatively long,the relationship between the defending side and the varying side should be handled correctly; the latest progresses of modern pharmacology should be organically integrated into the prescription of syndrome differentiated treatment; during clinical prescription,not only the methodology that tallies with the differentiated treatment of Chinese medicine and the prescription rules of “sovereign,minister,assistant,envoy” are observed,the reasonable collocation of Chinese medicines that have different anticancer effects should also be taken into consideration.
