Abstract:To identify the controllable factors of drug repercussion in the inpatient dispensary and to find corresponding measures. Methods: To collect 5 379 cases of drug repercussion in 2013 and 2721 cases in 2014 through HIS system, then analyze the reasons, total amount of money, frequency, types of repercussion. After finding the root cause of drug repercussion, take measures to improve the condition of 2014, then compare the results with 2013. Results: The drug repercussion cases in 2014 decreased to 2721 cases after measures taken (P<0.05). In 2004, except for changes of doctor′s advice, temporary discharge from the hospital, and patients transfer, the occurrence of drug repercussion due to other reasons decreased by more than 50%. The rate of refund was 3.61% in 2013, higher than that of 7.11% in 2014 with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: Through optimizing procedures, increasing doctor-patient communication, abiding by working disciplines, the incidence of drug repercussion can be cut down.
