Mengshi Guntan Pill has been proved to be an empirical formula in treating various excessive phlegm-heat syndromes as well as complex symptoms due to long-term phlegm in clinical practice. With physiological features of children, deficiency in spleen often generates dampness and accumulates phlegm with children′s pure-yang constitution and tendency of having phlegm-heat syndrome.
